

The Arkansas Razorbacks hosted Texas A&M on a cold, icy evening in Fayetteville. The student section set a new attendance record and helped keep Bud Walton Arena loud and rocking most of the game. The Hogs won their 3rd straight conference game, 81-70, and moved to 4-5 in the SEC (15-7 overall) while A&M dropped to 15-7 (7-2 in SEC play). A&M came in hot having won 10 of their last 11 games

The Hogs were led by Ricky Council IV and Devo Davis with 19 points each. Jordan Walsh added 12 off the bench and Anthony Black had 11 along with 7 assists. Arkansas had a block party with 13 blocks, led by Makhel Mitchell with 7. The defense held A&M to 34.2% shooting while Arkansas shot an even 50%.

Arkansas goes on the road Saturday to face South Carolina (8-14, 1-8 SEC) at 2:30 pm CST on the SEC Network.
