Pine Bluff, AR – August 26, 2024 – A Pine Bluff Police Department officer was critically injured in a collision with a school bus on Dollarway Road near Phyllis Street at approximately 8:08 a.m. on Monday.

The school bus was not carrying any students at the time. The driver was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center (JRMC) for evaluation.

The officer was also taken to JRMC and is listed in critical condition.

Dollarway Road remains blocked due to the collision, and drivers are advised to seek alternate routes until further notice.

Authorities are monitoring the situation closely, and further updates will be provided as they become available.
